Grounds Crew

The Peel Compton Foundation is looking for a Part Time / Seasonal employee (October - November) to join our Grounds Crew team at Compton Gardens.   This is a great opportunity to work for an amazing organization with a meaningful mission.    What you’ll be doing… All gardening and grounds-keeping duties including planting, weeding, pruning, mulching, turf management, maintaining drives and walkways, painting, and litter pickup.

Planting and Gardening Light landscaping Keeping the grounds beautiful for the visitors.

Basic maintenance work.

The ideal candidate will have experience with the following tools and equipment….

Basic hand tools Irrigation Systems  Shovels Rakes Lawncare equipment Trimmers / blowers Requirements :

• Experience in lawncare.
• Needed physical skills… Ability to climb ladders, stand for many hours during the daytime, work in all-types of weather such as wet, cold, hot, humid, and sunny conditions, perform manual labor including lifting supplies and materials up to 50 lbs.
• This would be a great temporary job for the right candidate!
