Rocktops is a state-of-the-art granite & stone fabrication facility located in Olathe, KS servicing the production and installation of high-quality countertop surfaces for our clients.

Rocktops has an immediate opening for a Full-Time Data Entry Clerk in our Accounting Department. This position will require an individual who is highly motivated with an excellent attention to detail.

The data entry clerk will work in-office, Monday-Friday, handling routine clerical tasks as they relate to entering and / or updating data on multiple computer software systems in a high-volume accounting and purchasing environment.

TYPICAL DUTIES (illustrative, not inclusive) :

  • Review and pair purchase orders / packing lists to respective invoices for Accounts Payable data entry
  • Post Accounts Receivable payments to customer accounts
  • Sync and cross-check data between multiple computer software systems
  • Review data for errors, missing pages, or missing information and promptly resolves any discrepancies
  • Provide team members with requested data and information and have the ability to speak to it
  • Update and maintain W-9’s on all vendors
  • Maintain Accounting email inbox organization; download & save, or print documents daily
  • Transfer information from paper formats into computer files using scanner
  • Save and retrieve records and electronic files from the company server
  • Maintain a filing system and protect confidential customer and vendor information
  • Complete additional tasks and duties assigned by management or other company leaders

Requirements : IDEAL QUALITIES :

IDEAL QUALITIES :

  • Longtime working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • At least 2+ years of accounting-based data entry using QuickBooks Online
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks to a high degree of accuracy in a face-paced environment
  • Should demonstrate time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively
  • Ability to prioritize workload to meet daily, weekly, monthly deadlines
  • Must be flexible in nature and highly motivated self-starter
  • Should demonstrate strong communication skills
  • Comfortable making phone calls and reaching out to customers and vendors
  • Should be a logical problem solver and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • High School diploma required. College degree preferred (or) 4 years of relevant field experience
