Certified Nurse Midwife / Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, Health Center

(Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Women's Health-NP - Community Health Center is seeking an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife or Women's Health Nurse Practitioner to provide exceptional care to patients presenting at the Health Center.

Provide culturally competent reproductive health care services, including but not limited to preventive care, contraceptive care, medication abortion, vaginitis treatment, STD screening|treatment to all genders, pregnancy and HIV testing, education and counseling in accordance with evidence-based practice protocols.

Responsible for providing consultations requested by the primary care provider. Work closely with multidisciplinary providers to ensure that the patient is getting the best in comprehensive women's health care within his|her specialty. Participates in all activities necessary to implement the multidisciplinary team approach for the care of female patients.

Assists in expanding and enhancing the Women's Health Services by participating in outreach and community screenings. Participates in Case Management and patient surveys in maintaining quality assurance.

Qualifications - National certification as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner or Certified Nurse Midwife, Valid CT state license, Minimum of 3 years practice experience.
