Front Desk Agent

Do you have retail, customer service or previous hotel experience? If so, we would love to hear from you! We currently have 3 Front Desk Agent openings; 2 FT and 1 PT ideally, both with flexible avaiablibility.

Essential Functions

• Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
• Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
• Manage online and phone reservations
• Inform guests about payment methods and verify credit card data
• Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
• Respond to complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests’ needs
• Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees
• Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate

Job Knowledge/Skills and Abilities

• Elite customer service attitude and phone etiquette
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Basic reading, writing and math skills

Qualifications/Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• MUST have open avaiablibility; ability to work both AM (7a-3pm) and PM (3p-11p) shifts
• Minimum of 1 year customer service experience; hotel preferred, but not required
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Occasionally required to walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms. Frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
