Position Summary :
One of our largest pharmaceutical clients is searching for a HR Business Partner in Durham, NC. In this role you will be reporting into the Associate Director, HRBP. This position plays a key role in ensuring business success by partnering with designated departments and senior leadership through people strategy and performance initiatives that align with business objectives.
This position works closely with cross-functional teams and leaders to provide HR services that support staffing, organizational development, compensation, employee relations and talent management.
This position collaborates with business leaders to understand their needs and challenges, and provides guidance on how to attract, retain, and develop the best talent for the organization. Working in a matrixed shared-service environment, this role partners with cross-functional teams to provide core HR services.
Position Responsibilities :
- Acts as key contributor to developing and deploying HR strategies that align with organizational and site-specific business goals, promoting employee engagement and fostering a diverse, inclusive, and continuous learning work environment.
- Drives talent management initiatives, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, talent development, and succession planning, to foster a culture of caring leadership and nurture a pipeline of experienced professionals.
- Identifies HR opportunities and challenges within respective functions, providing insights, guidance, and solutions to foster a workforce that embraces diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Guides, directs, and supports leadership and managers on multiple HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.
- Partners with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to deliver HR programs, policies, and processes. Serves as primary liaison between assigned business units and HR COEs. Executes local & corporate HR projects / programs effectively & efficiently.
- Uses HR analytics and data-driven insights to inform decision-making, identify trends, and lead HR interventions, ensuring fairness and equity in HR practices.
- Coaches leaders of people and execution timeliness for defined HR processes.
Position Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, Master’s degree preferred8+ years of relevant human resources experience, ideally as an HR Business Partner.General knowledge of relevant local employment law, human resources policies, procedures and best practices.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong problem-solving skills, a proven ability to think strategically and work with a variety of stakeholders.Prior HRBP experience in the pharmaceutical, CDMO, and / or manufacturing environments preferred.
