Allen, TX 75002
Monday - Friday, 3PM to 12PM
Pay : $21-23 / HR
Duration : 6 month contract to direct hire
QUALIFICATIONS :
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Strong understanding of basic troubleshooting and machine maintenance.
- Familiarity with health and safety standards and protocols.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations, as well as cGMPs.
- Ability to manage processes and procedures.
- Capacity to work in environments with extreme temperatures and noise levels.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Operating packaging machinery daily in the manufacturing area.
- Preparing machines for production cycles, including calibration, cleaning, and other necessary tasks.
- Starting up and shutting down the machine as required, including replenishing packaging materials.
- Conducting routine checks to verify the machine's operability.
- Performing preventative maintenance on the machine and maintaining cleanliness in both the equipment and the work area.
- Regularly conducting tests to assess machine operation.
- Ensuring the appropriate packaging is used for specific product ranges, adhering to company standards.
- Inspecting final products and reporting any faulty packaging or machine issues to relevant managers.
- Transporting completed product boxes to the correct inventory area.
- Adhering to safety regulations and protocols in the packaging area.
- Completing all relevant documentation related to packing and machine maintenance.
- Fulfilling other duties as assigned.
