ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
With 11 years of experience serving our community, our State Farm agency has grown into a diverse and dynamic team of eight professionals—with plans to expand to a team of twenty. We strive to create a supportive and rewarding workplace, offering two weeks of paid vacation, a Simple IRA with up to 3% matching, annual bonuses, and regular team-building activities such as happy hours and birthday celebrations.

Our team speaks three languages in addition to English, allowing us to better connect with and serve our customers. Agent Alice Kwon completed her degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Maryland, and is personally committed to giving back through local initiatives, including sponsoring a youth baseball team and volunteering at the food bank. Together, we are dedicated to providing exceptional service and building strong relationships within our community.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As Account Associate - State Farm Agent Team Member for Alice Kwon - State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of our customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage customer accounts and update information in the database.
  • Assist customers with policy changes and inquiries.
  • Process insurance claims and follow up with customers on claim status.
  • Coordinate with underwriters to ensure timely policy issuance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Previous experience in insurance or a related field preferred.
