Job description
Working remotely in the Pacific Time Zone, the full-time Billing Representative will verify and update patient insurance coverage, assist with inquiries from clinical staff, and identify workflow inefficiencies in managed care processes. Key responsibilities: Respond to email requests for account updates related to insurance coverage issues from clinical staff Resolve coverage and claim issues within assigned work queues in the practice management system Collaborate with team members and management to address complex issues and improve workflows Required qualifications: High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience Must be 18 years of age or older 1+ years of recent medical billing experience Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel Ability to work full-time, Monday - Friday, with flexibility for 8-hour shifts
