What you'll do :
- Develop, maintain, and update project documentation
- Program task management (as assigned by manager)
- Develop and maintain program file system (physical and electronic)
- Contact customer to obtain project specific information
- Estimate revenue and customer costs based on provided estimating tools and work with others to develop estimates
- Ensure stakeholder notification and buy-in
- Complete project close-out per company standards
- Track accruals weekly and turn in at the end of every week
- Schedule work and crew make ups with scheduler for internal and external use
- Review invoices from subcontractors to confirm production and accurate accounting
- Work with accounts receivable and billing department to make sure all revenue is accounted for and accurate
- Forecast month and year for each project and program
- Create purchase orders
- Design review and estimate take offs
- Work with internal support groups (finance & accounting, billing, etc.) to set up projects in accounting system
- Remove obstacles and empower operations to be successful
- Constantly manage and monitor project progress, risk, and the quality of the customer experience
- Manage project level activities which include but are not limited to critical path monitoring / alignment, procurement, resource loading / forecasting / conflict resolution, and critical path risk identification / mitigation
- Proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they become problems
- Lead efforts to gather all project level status to report on project status to all stakeholders
- Be responsible for tracking change impact and delay impact
- Forecast and manage materials to facilitate the scheduled work on time and under budget
What you'll need :
You are 18 years of age or olderYou are authorized to work in the United States for this companyYou have previous work in telecommunications construction in outside plant facilitiesYou have 3-5 years of experience as a manager of construction crewsYou have extensive knowledge of telecommunications construction requirementsYou have 5+ years of experience in delivering construction telecommunications services or utility related industryYou have experience managing contractors and coordinating multi-site construction projectsYou have strong written and verbal communications skillsYou are a problem solver and critical thinkerYou are driven and self-motivatedYou are proficient in MS Office applications : MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, MS ProjectYou have the ability to work independently on assigned tasks with minimum guidanceWhy grow your career with us?
