ABOUT THE ROLE
The Valet is responsible for delivering an exceptional first impression to residents and guests by providing professional, efficient, and safe vehicle valet services. This role requires a polished, service-oriented individual who embodies the values of hospitality, attention to detail, and safety. The Valet will oversee all aspects of parking, retrieving, and monitoring vehicles, while also supporting the security and cleanliness of the arrival and driveway areas. Although primarily responsible for valet operations, this role may assist the front desk team when needed.
Key Responsabilities :
- Welcome residents and guests upon arrival, providing prompt and courteous valet service.
- Safely park, retrieve, and manage vehicles in accordance with company and property guidelines.
- Maintain accurate key control and ensure secure handling of all vehicles entrusted to the valet team.
- Assist with monitoring traffic flow and maintaining a safe, organized driveway and entry area.
- Provide directions, answer questions, and offer general assistance to residents and guests as needed.
- Support the front desk team with greeting and service tasks during high-volume periods.
- Observe and report any safety, security, or maintenance concerns immediately to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance and uniform at all times.
- Follow all building safety procedures and understand emergency response responsibilities.
- Ensure that the valet stand and surrounding areas remain clean, organized, and presentable.
- Maintain positive, respectful interactions with residents, guests, vendors, and team members.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no DWIs or recent moving violations ).
- Experience operating vehicles of various makes, models, and sizes.
- Ability to lift 30–50 lbs. and perform physical activities such as standing, walking, running short distances, and bending.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to respond quickly to emergencies or urgent requests.
- Ability to detect visual or auditory alarms and respond appropriately.
- Basic computer or mobile device proficiency for logging and communication needs.
- Maintains professionalism, reliability, and a high level of customer service at all times.
