Local Delivery Driver

Abatix is looking for a service-minded Local Delivery Driver to join our team! The ideal candidate brings a professional, positive attitude and holds at least a Class B CDL license. As an Abatix Delivery Driver, you'll be the face of our company on the road, making local deliveries to our customers across the Dallas metroplex. You'll provide friendly, reliable service while ensuring every delivery arrives safely and on time. Job Description :

• Make deliveries throughout the Dallas area
• Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures
• Inspect and maintain vehicle equipment and supplies, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes to ensure vehicles are in proper working condition
• Report any mechanical problem encountered with a vehicle
• Load and unload vehicle
• Verify the contents of orders against shipping papers
• Assist in warehouse facilities
• Count stock items and record data into computer system
• Assist customers with loading merchandise
