Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Orlando, FL for a Nurse Practitioner at Infectious Diseases Consultants. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, conducting physical examinations, diagnosing and treating common acute illnesses and injuries, and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.

This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Florida
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in a specialty area (e.g. Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a primary care or specialty care setting
• Excellent clinical skills and ability to independently assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based practice guidelines and ability to apply them to patient care
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and ability to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
