Location :

  • Hybrid work schedule in the Rockville, MD, office (Tuesdays and Thursdays) As our Senior Solutions Engineer, you will help nonprofits envision what’s possible with Salesforce.
  • You will connect their mission to the tech, leading discovery conversations, crafting forward-thinking solutions, and collaborating with internal teams to design proposals and demos that inspire action.
  • This is a strategic, customer-facing role with a blend of consulting, sales engineering, and storytelling.

Responsibilities :

  • Discovery & Visioning Lead thoughtful conversations with nonprofit stakeholders to uncover business challenges, CX pain points, and long-term goals.
  • Translate client aspirations into solution hypotheses, showing how Salesforce and fusionSpan can unlock greater impact.
  • Salesforce-Centered Solution Design Craft Salesforce-first solutions across CRM, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and Experience Cloud, with a lens on customer experience and operational excellence.
  • Build scalable, future-ready architectures tailored to nonprofit sector needs — from membership to fundraising to program impact.
  • Demos & Presentations Create and deliver compelling, customized product demonstrations that speak to mission, metrics, and user experience.
  • Partner with Account Executives, Solution Architects, and delivery teams to align technical vision with real-world application.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration Act as the connective tissue between Sales, Delivery, Product, and Partners (Salesforce, ISVs, and others) to ensure solution accuracy and client alignment.
  • Represent fusionSpan in pre-sales workshops, discovery sessions, and executive briefings.
  • Scoping & Estimation Lead solution scoping, level-of-effort estimates, and phased roadmaps that balance ambition with feasibility.
  • Support handoff to delivery with documentation that ensures clarity, continuity, and client confidence.
  • Qualifications Salesforce certifications in Agentforce Specialist, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Marketing Cloud Significant experience in a customer-facing role or sales organization Excellent business and technical presentation skills, communication ( oral & written ), and relationship building skills, across all levels of management Ambitious and self-motivated with a high emotional IQ Ability to make decisions guided by policies, procedures and business plan with limited guidance Results-oriented, prioritizes work activities, plans and stays organized in order to meet commitments Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience Previous experience in pre or post-Sales support What We Offer :
