Your role and responsibilities
As a Manager of Product Education Engineering at HashiCorp, you will lead a team of 4-6 Education Engineers and Technical Writers, who build online tutorials and documentation to help technical practitioners understand and use HashiCorp Terraform, Packer, Vagrant, Waypoint, and Sentinel. Your team will be responsible for the written documents, tutorials, videos, and in-browser interactive labs in the sections of our developer portal that cover the HashiCorp Infrastructure Product Line :

Role description
In this role you will help the team execute on their strategy for aligning existing product documentation and tutorials with user needs, lead quarterly planning initiatives, help drive alignment with your counterparts on other product lines, and facilitate relationships with R&D stakeholders when needed.
You will use tools including career matrices, 1 : 1s, and feedback cycles to communicate expectations and help your team meet them. You will also contribute improvements back to these tools. Skills in the matrix for this team include :

Candidates who are a good fit for this role will have management experience, and demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, which we will test during the interview process. You should be comfortable working with code and the command line, and have experience building, deploying, or maintaining applications running on cloud infrastructure : AWS, Azure, GCP, or another cloud vendor.
