Lunata Eyelid and Cosmetic Surgery is a boutique medical practice specializing in precise, light touch procedures that optimize the eyelids and brow without compromising the features of unique individuals. Led by Dr. Kasra Eliasieh, a board-certified ophthalmologist and plastic surgeon, we celebrate the vitality of all ages, genders, and ethnicities through our inclusive and tailored approach, building trust with each patient through attentive listening and high quality service. Role Description

Lunata is looking for a warm and welcoming Patient Care Coordinator to join our practice in Berkeley, California. The PCC will have the opportunity to work with a small, collaborative team driven to build a reputation for high-quality, patient-centered care. Knowledge of medical insurance desired, but not requires. Primary Responsibilities

  • Responding to patient leads across phone, text, and web inquiries
  • Providing information on cosmetic procedures and pricing
  • Insurance verification, copays, and deductibles
  • Creating new patient records
  • Welcoming new and existing patients to the office
  • Scheduling new patients, minor procedures, post-ops, and follow-ups
  • Retail product presentation and sales
  • Requesting patient reviews
  • Creating content for social media

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • At least 2 years of medical, aesthetics, administrative, or hospitality experience desired
  • Attentive listening and empathy
  • Skilled at phone etiquette, scheduling, and developing relationships
  • Enjoys supporting others through their personal journeys
  • Ability to get along with patients with different backgrounds and personalities
  • Committed to seeing the details through for every patient
  • Highly organized and effective at managing time
  • Experience with electronic record-keeping
  • Knowledge of macOS, Google Workspace, and Canva desired
  • Salary and Benefits

    We offer a competitive hourly wage of $26-$32 with benefits including health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and opportunities for growth within our practice and professional development more broadly.
