Job description

Senior Event Project Manager

Our client, a luxury event company, is looking for a Senior Event Project Manager to join their team full time starting as soon as identified! In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be able to work onsite in Manhattan 5 days per week as well as onsite at event spaces as needed.

As the Senior Event Project Manager, you will be leading the planning and execution of high-profile events, including milestone celebrations, luxury weddings, and private parties. The Senior Project Manager is a strategic thinker with a meticulous eye for detail, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of full-scale event production.

The Senior Event Project Manager will be responsible for :

  • Leading cross-functional teams in the end-to-end planning and execution of complex events
  • Managing client relationships with professionalism and precision, ensuring satisfaction from concept to completion
  • Overseeing logistics, vendor coordination, and contract negotiations, including multi-million-dollar agreements
  • Developing and managing Run of Show (ROS) and Production Schedules from pre-production through on-site execution
  • Ensuring all events are delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with insurance, legal, health, and safety standards
  • Conducting thorough pre- and post-event evaluations to drive continuous improvement
  • Troubleshooting challenges on event day with a calm, solutions-oriented approach

Requirements :

  • 4+ years experience with large scale events and luxury productions
  • Outstanding time management and communications skills
  • Strong attention to detail while managing several projects at once
  • Skilled in vendor research, negotiation, and relationship management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with relevant production and event technologies
  • Benefits :

    Medical Insurance Coverage (No Dental) - Provider : Oxford Freedom through United Healthcare. Eligibility : 1st of the month following 3 months of employment as a Full-Time Employee, or Full-Time Equivalent Employee. Employer Contribution : 50% of Low Plan, bi-weekly (2x a month max)

    Commuter Benefits This is a program where employees can elect to withhold money from their pay-check pre-tax to be used for commuter expenses. Provider : David Monn. Eligibility : Immediately. Employee Cost : None

    Company Paid Holidays The Company observes Seven (7) holidays each year :

  • Paid Sick Days Employees have 40 paid Sick Hours to utilize each calendar year. Eligibility : Immediately. Accrual rate : Sick Days do not accrue and are available immediately

    Vacation / Personal Time Off (PTO) Eligibility : Must be a full-time or salaried office employee or Manager. Accrual Rate : PTO is accrued throughout the year and is pro-rated when applicable.

  • 1st Year - Accrual rate = 10 PTO days / Year
  • At 2nd Year Anniversary - Accrual Rate increases 12 PTO days / year.
  • After 3rd Year - Accrual Rate increases to 19 PTO days / year.
  • 401K / Profit Sharing Plan Eligibility : January 1st or July 1st following 1-year of employment. 401K Match : None. Profit Sharing Plan : Discretionary
