The Front of House Assistant Manager will be driving all day-to-day FOH activities as per the company’s luxury Pâtisserie standards and specific brand direction.
This position closely supports the owners and enforces the brand guidelines in fully consistent, organized, proactive manner.
The successful candidate will bring several years of relevant experience with a successful track record, be passionate about customer service, and self-driven.
An interest in gastronomy, Pâtisserie and / or French arts & culture is important. French language knowledge is a big plus but not mandatory.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES :
Including but not limited to the following, and subject to change based on evolving business priorities :
- Ensure appearance and organization in line with company standards : merchandising, cleanliness, product availability, etc
- Train and monitor staff to ensure guidelines are followed, including opening / closing checklists
- Ensure product and service communications from team to customers are fully in line
- Anticipate and manage rushes at the counter to maximize customer satisfaction and experience
- Provide staff feedback and address any service issues promptly
- Execute new product launches
- Nurture smooth guest flow throughout the dining room
- Ensure smooth execution of pre-orders
- Communicate effectivley with Owners, FOH and BOH
- Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, place weekly orders
- Maintain consistent cleanliness and organization of the front of house area
