Draft Installation Tech (DIT)
Position Summary :
The Draft Beer System Installation Tech (DIT) position requires experience in construction, plumbing, HVAC, or similar fields of work. The DIT role is to install and manage draft beer system installations. This position has a level of technical skill and the applicant must be comfortable working in different environment s.
Key Responsibilities :
- Carry out the installation of a long draw beer system that includes all necessary duties from pulling trunk line to balancing the system upon completion.
- Installation of short draw beer systems such as through the wall or keg box.
- Assemble a dual temperature-controlled wine / beer on tap dispenser from two (2) to (8) taps.
- Install and service glycol units.
- Attend the necessary schools to become Micro Matic certified.
- Attend all other trainings required by Glacier Design Systems.
- Have strong technical skills.
- Maintain a professional working relationship with Market Managers, Sales Representatives, and DIT department personnel.
- Ensure that all installations are managed and completed to the highest possible standards of both Glacier Design Systems and the client.
- Effectively manage all equipment to include care, maintenance, and inventory of assigned equipment and tools.
- Manage company vehicle in accordance with all Glacier Design Systems policies.
Qualifications and Skills :
General construction, HVAC, plumbing, or similar work.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Excellent Customer Service Skills.Ability to learn and retain product specific information and utilize the information to position the features and benefits to the customer.Must be mechanically inclined.Be results-driven and self-motivated.Ability to lift heavy loads of more than 50 lbs.Regional travel required.Benefits Package :
