Job descriptionProvides clients with help moving into and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, and with dressing and grooming Performs housekeeping duties such as cooking, cleaning, washing clothes and dishes, and running errands. Performs health care-related tasks such as giving medication under the direction of registered nurse in accordance with polices and procedures. Maintains records of residential care, conditions, progress, or problems to report and discusses observations with supervisor. Serves meals to patients according to prescribed diets Ensures all aspects of safety and enforces safety rules and regulations Other miscellaneous duties as needed or requested by supervisor. Must possess a strong service orientation, including active listening, critical thinking skills, and close monitoring of clients. Requires a strong work ethic, patience, understanding and professionalism. Comfortable in an environment in which clients cannot perform basic life duties. Understanding of basic concepts of personal care, housekeeping and other care areas. One year of related experience Prolonged periods of standing, bending and lifting. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

Duties / Responsibilities :
Cares for residents by changing bed linens, washing laundry, cleaning, bathing, assisting with personal care, toileting and overall getting around.
