CARESTL HEALTH is seeking a Correspondence Imaging Clerk. The Correspondence / Imaging Clerk performs the duties required to provide health information management services to external and internal customers.
Essential Functions :
Prepare release of information requests for external customers (i.e. Attorneys, Insurance Companies, Division of Family Services (DFS), State Agencies, Disability Determinations, Patients, Medical Centers, Physician's Offices, etc.
Review health records for signatures before releasing information to external customers.
Collect correspondence, laboratory, x-ray, and other reports from assigned modules; Arrange loose medical reports that arrive in the Health Information Services Department;
Scan loose reports in the appropriate tab.
- Maintain report log for release of information requests for internal and external customers and other duties assigned.
- Review and utilize the Electronic Health Record (Eclinical Works).
- Maintain weekly department tracking log of productivity
Education :
High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience :
Previous health information management experience preferred.
Additional Information :
- Clinic hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
