Psychiatric Physician opening in Waterloo, IA - Cedar Rapids 55m; Des Moines 100m Job Description : - Full-time, permanent - Seeking a Psychiatrist to join our inpatient mental health team in Waterloo, IA- Dedicated Medical Directorship hours.- 21 Bed adult only (ages 18 and up) Mental Health Unit- 96% fill capacity- Experienced team of 5 Advanced Practice Providers- Safety techs, Counselors, Social worker, Discharge Navigators, and experienced nursing staff- Tele psych available on unit- ED with dedicated behavioral health hallway (5 rooms)- Advanced Practice Supervision- Great community mental health support- Collegial practice and care environment, supported by highly trained physician, clinical staff, and administration.- Hospitalists consult in inpatient mental health.- Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination.
