What You'll Do
Perform site and equipment evaluation for safety and proper installation : Conduct thorough assessments to ensure all installations meet safety standards and are correctly implemented.Collaborate with trades, GC, sub-contractors, and company personnel : Work effectively with various stakeholders to coordinate and facilitate smooth project execution.Accurately document all equipment model and serial numbers on startup documents : Maintain precise records of equipment details to ensure accurate documentation and compliance.Commission and startup new and used equipment : Oversee the commissioning process, ensuring both new and used equipment are properly started up and functional.Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues during the commissioning process : Identify and resolve any mechanical or electrical problems that arise during equipment commissioning.Complete all required paperwork including daily reports, time sheets, and commissioning documents : Ensure all necessary documentation is accurately completed and submitted in a timely manner.What You Bring
3+ years of hands-on experience commissioning industrial refrigeration systems, including ammonia and CO₂Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including compressors, pumps, evaporators, and control panelsExperience with reciprocating and screw compressors, refrigerant pumps, and evaporative condensersAbility to read and interpret P&ID diagrams, electrical schematics, and technical drawingsProven ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues during startupRETA 1 & 2 certification (preferred; must be willing to obtain)Universal EPA 608 certification (required or must be willing to obtain)OSHA 10 or 30 certification (preferred)Familiarity with commissioning protocols, safety procedures, and documentation standardsStrong communication skills and confidence working directly with clients, contractors, and internal teamsProficiency with digital tools for documentation, reporting, and system validationValid driver's license and clean driving recordPhysical capability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in elevated or confined spacesWillingness to travel frequently and work in varying site conditionsWho We Are
