About The Position

License : Must be on the Unlicensed Assistive Personnel Registry

Certifications : BLS (AHA)

Must-Have :

2+ years of experience

Strong Neuro experience

Experience working in a large hospital with level 1 trauma experience

Experience in a busy acute care facility with more than 15 OR suites

Experience with robotics

Experience in at least one of the following systems : Zimmer, Depuy, Biomet, or Striker total replacements

Description :

Perform surgical and operating room duties as assigned according to established policies and procedures.

Assist the surgeon and other healthcare team members in providing effective surgical care.

Primary focus on neuro surgeries, but will also assist with other cases within skill set, including orthopedics, ENT, plastics, general, and some trauma.

Utilize equipment in the unit and department for various procedures, primarily orthopedics, plastic surgery, and ENT (pediatric and adult).

Work schedule includes 8 or 10-hour days with potential call 1 to 2 days a week and every 3 to 4 weekends.

Stay late as needed to assist with scheduled cases; this time is not considered Call Back but an extension of the regular shift.

Average 75 to 100 cases performed per day across 25 OR suites.

All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility.

Scrub color will be provided.
