Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy treatment services to residents under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Document patient progress, treatment notes, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient goals and overall well-being
- Maintain current COTA licensure and adhere to all applicable state and professional practice standards
Required Qualifications
- Current COTA certification through NBCOT
- Active South Dakota state licensure or eligibility to obtain
- Experience working in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred
- Strong documentation and communication skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Familiarity with PACS documentation software
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative therapy team
