Forklift Operator

The Warehouse Operator uses various equipment to deliverraw materials drums and totes necessary to the production areaaccurately safely and in a timely manner.
In our Shipping area theWarehouse Operator is responsible for safely handling raw materialsand finished goods to be shipped out to our internal and externalcustomers This role also has additional responsibilities inShipping and Receiving departments.
Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner.Equipment includes but is not limited to :
Propane powered forklifts (Hilo)
Battery operated forklifts (Hilo) including HiReach PivotMast
Battery operated transporters
Battery operated transstackers
Batteryoperated sweeper / scrubber
Propane operatedscrubber
Handheld scanner units (RFTerminals)
Powered Stretchwrap machine
Perform the following duties to include but not limitedto :
Deliver requested stock to the productionfloor
Unload inbound trailers
Load outbound dirty totetrailers
Unload clean empty Totes andDrums
Use handheld scanners to relieve and addto plant inventory
Maintain area safety andhousekeeping standards
Confirm Transfer Ordersfor Outbound Deliveries
Stage loads forshipments
Load shipment on designatedcarriers
Accurately and timely put stock away(applies to both areas)
Pallet / Binconsolidation
Assist with area CycleCounting
Follow all siteand area guidelines pertaining to all functions within the plantand assigned tasks (examples : breaks / lunch availability forwork)
Must be flexible toworking overtime (coming in early staying late working weekends) asneeded
Quals
Prior Forklift and Warehouse experiencerequested.
Active forklift certification is aplus.
Education / Experience :
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); orequivalent combination of education and experience.
