Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 18+ months of experience and current ARRT (CT) and BLS certification for night shifts in a community hospital.

Responsibilities

  • Work within a CT department serving inpatients, ER patients, and adult ICU cases
  • Setting is a community hospital and Level III Trauma Center
  • Wide variety of cases including abdomen, pelvis, head / neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, and CTAs
  • Daily caseload averages 160 scans
  • Procedures involve use of contrast, multiplanar reconstruction, and GE scanner / equipment
  • Night shift schedule with four 10-hour shifts from 21 : 30 to 8 : 00
  • 100% floating required within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals as needed
  • EMR system is Cerner and experience is required
  • First-time travelers will be considered for this assignment
  • Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
  • Up to 5 days of non-holiday requested time off can be auto-approved; more requires approval
  • All travelers must be willing to float as needed
  • Returning employees must have been away from the facility for at least 12 months before being considered as travelers
  • Indiana residents are considered local for Allied positions
  • Scrub or dress code requirements are not specified

    • Requirements

  • Current ARRT (CT) and BLS certification required
  • Minimum of 18 months to 2 years of recent CT technologist experience required
  • Experience in inpatient, ER, adult ICU, and trauma settings required
  • Proficiency with PACS, contrast administration, and the scan types listed in job details
  • License required if applicable and must be in hand prior to start date
  • University attended must be accredited by ACEN or CCNE at the time of graduation
  • Two supervisor references required for consideration
