IAM Engineer

Overview

A leading technology-driven organization is seeking a technically strong Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer to take ownership of identity systems and access controls across a complex hybrid environment. This is a hands-on engineering role with a clear path to leadership as the IAM function expands.

Youll work across infrastructure, application, and security teams to implement scalable identity solutions, drive automation, and ensure secure, efficient access management.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise IAM solutions
• Manage identity lifecycle processes : provisioning, de-provisioning, access reviews, and RBAC
• Automate identity workflows and integrations using PowerShell, Python, or Bash
• Integrate IAM platforms with cloud and on-prem systems and applications
• Enforce technical access controls aligned with least privilege and Zero Trust principles
• Lead IAM projects, including migrations, platform upgrades, and new technology rollouts
• Evaluate new IAM technologies and contribute to strategic decisions and roadmaps
• Collaborate across teams to embed IAM into infrastructure, applications, and workflows
• Maintain documentation and mentor junior engineers as the team grows
• Participate in an on-call rotation and provide after-hours support when needed
