Cohere is seeking a Compensation Expert for an intensive 2 to 3-month contract to lead a high-impact refresh of our compensation bands to help us attract top talent. We need a creative problem-solver with deep expertise and experience in competitive talent markets.

What You’ll Do :

• Analyze emerging compensation trends in the AI / ML space
• Benchmark against top industry data sources, including open source data (e.g. Levels.fyi, and job postings)
• Update existing and develop compensation bands for new roles / levels using innovative approaches (e.g., open-source data mining, competitor job scraping) to ensure our ranges are market-leading
• Implement updated ranges for all job functions and levels by the end of December
