Role : Senior Android Developer (Frontend SDK Specialist)

Location : San Leandro, CA

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Android Developer with strong expertise in Frontend SDK integration to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications while integrating and optimizing SDKs for seamless user experiences. This role requires a blend of mobile development proficiency, UI / UX awareness, and SDK implementation skills.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Java / Kotlin.
Integrate and customize Frontend SDKs to enhance app functionality and performance.
Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product managers to deliver intuitive and responsive UI.
Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compatibility across devices.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
Stay updated with the latest Android development trends, SDK updates, and tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

5+ years of professional Android development experience.

Proficiency in Java and Kotlin.

Strong experience with Frontend SDK integration (e.g., payment gateways, analytics, chat, maps).

Solid understanding of Android UI / UX principles and Material Design guidelines.

Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party libraries.

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Preferred Skills :

Knowledge of Jetpack Compose and modern Android architecture components (MVVM, LiveData, ViewModel).

Experience with CI / CD pipelines for Android apps.

Familiarity with cross-platform SDKs or hybrid frameworks.
