AWS API Developer

Softtek Integration Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced AWS API Developer at Charlotte, NC. This is a Full-time position. Job Description : Technical, Business & Role Skills : A seasoned AWS API Developer with 10+ years of experience in designing and building scalable, secure, and resilient APIs using modern cloud-native technologies. Proficient in JavaScript / TypeScript and Node.js, with deep expertise in serverless architecture and RESTful API development. Adept at implementing API-first strategies, collaborating across teams, and driving agile delivery. Passionate about innovation, mentoring, and continuous improvement in fast-paced environments. Experience Needed 10 to 12 years in software development. At least 5+ years in cloud-native API development. Minimum 3+ years working with AWS services and serverless architecture. Proven track record of delivering enterprise APIs in agile environments. Activities to Perform : Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade APIs using AWS and Apigee. Implement serverless components using AWS Lambda and related services. Collaborate with stakeholders to define API requirements and architecture. Ensure adherence to security, logging, and error-handling standards. Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning. Document API specifications and integration guides. Mentor junior developers and promote best practices.
