Description

Essential Functions :

• The School Based Clinician will provide quality services to assigned clients in compliance with agency policies COMAR standards and all state and federal regulations. The specific responsibilities of the position of School Based Clinician include the following :

Provide clinical therapeutic services to individual clients and families that can include but is not limited to : Individual and family therapy crisis intervention advocacy and supportive services diagnostic assessment treatment planning discharge planning both in school and in the community

Types of Employment Options :

SUPERVISION AND COORDINATION OF SERVICES

The School Based Clinician reports directly to their immediate supervisor and / or the Clinic Director. The School Based Clinician will also collaborate with other professionals and care providers through interdisciplinary teamwork. The School Based Clinician adheres to ethics of their respective profession.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge Skills and Abilities : The School Based Clinician must have the following experience knowledge or abilities :

Age Requirement : Be at least 21 years of age

Education and Experience : Mental Health Professional licensed by the state of Maryland (LMSW LCSW-C LGPC LCPC). Experience as required by the credentialing process.
