Scientific Editor

A company is looking for a Scientific Editor (Hybrid, Cambridge, MA or Remote).

Key Responsibilities

Recruiting research papers for submission and fostering communities of interest

Assessing submitted research papers and overseeing the peer review process

Establishing relationships with researchers and representing the journal at scientific meetings

Required Qualifications

PhD or post-doctoral research in Life or Health sciences with expertise in relevant fields

1-2 years of previous editorial experience

Experience running a research group or working in industry is beneficial

Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work in a diverse team

Creativity, willingness to experiment, and a desire to improve are essential
