Job Description : Superintendent
Job Summary :
This position requires a construction-minded individual who can manage multiple tasks and projects. You will lead a team of dedicated foremen and fence technicians, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, possess strong leadership skills, and be detail-oriented.
Responsibilities :
- Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Supervise staff and provide constructive feedback
- Coach and teach trade skills
- Coordinate progress reports with the general contractor, owner, and project manager on schedule and deadlines
- Coordinate with other trades and subcontractors when within our scope or working alongside
- Monitor, log, and report on project progress
- Create cost estimates for labor, supplies, materials, and other project costs
- Implement safety and quality guidelines
- Order appropriate equipment and arrange for regular maintenance
- Track materials and incoming orders at the site
- Resolve on-site issues and emergencies
- Set performance goals and deadlines
- Ensure the job site remains safe, clean, and organized
- Manage multiple projects and crews
- Possess experience and proficiency in all aspects of fence and netting
- Conduct evaluations with foreman at 60 days and beyond
- Initiate paperwork for promotions and corrective actions
- Hold a valid CDL Class A license
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalentAt least three years of experience in fence constructionUS work authorizationValid driver's license, reliable transportation, and CDL Class AAbility to meet physical requirements, including working in confined spaces, heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs.Ability to work independently and in a teamWillingness to work M-F, weekends, 8–12-hour shifts, and overtime as neededProficiency with hand tools and power toolsAbility to operate heavy equipment such as skid loaders and boom liftsOSHA 30 certificationBenefits :
