The Health Educator plays a pivotal role in the Pelvic Wellness Center within the Department of Urology, providing evidence-based, client-centered coaching to support patients in achieving their health and wellness goals. This position focuses on empowering patients through behavioral change, mobilizing personal strengths, and facilitating access to appropriate resources. While not involved in diagnosing or prescribing treatment, the Health Educator works collaboratively with the clinical team to ensure educational support aligns with each patient's medical treatment plan. This role is instrumental in fostering patient engagement, satisfaction, and sustainable lifestyle changes that promote overall well-being.

Responsibilities

• Provide client-centered coaching and education to support health and wellness goals in collaboration with the clinical team.
• Assist patients in behavioral change, resource navigation, and accessing appropriate services.
• Maintain alignment with patient treatment plans and respect clinical boundaries (not diagnosing or prescribing).
