M3 Executive Search is proud to represent this regional academic health system in its national search for a Chief of Vascular Surgery.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for candidates with strong leadership and Vascular Surgery expertise to bring vision and energy to lead an established vascular surgery division .

Candidates should have an interest in providing the full spectrum of emergent and elective vascular surgical procedures and should be nationally recognized leaders in the field.

Additionally, candidates should demonstrate an interest and ability to teach residents and medical students and should possess an interest in pursuing clinical research.

Highlights include :

• Leading a division of 3 vascular surgeons who are supported by dedicated advanced practitioners and nursing staff
• Division is part of an integrated Department of Cardiovascular Sciences, comprised of cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, cardiovascular imaging, and pediatric cardiac care.
• Regional Heart Institute with an outpatient center and a 120-bed specialty hospital with dedicated ORs, 13 interventional labs, and other exceptional technology resources, including robotic-assisted surgery .
• The institute’s research capabilities feature clinical trials to develop new techniques, treatments, and devices for cardiovascular care.

The desired candidate must have excellent surgical skills / judgment and be recognized within academic Vascular Surgery. As a leader, they must demonstrate the ability to influence and manage with high emotional intelligence.

Critical for individuals to exhibit integration attributes demonstrating strong communication skills and bring a growth mindset to succeed within a matrixed structure across the system.

A successful candidate should possess a MD, MD / PhD, or equivalent degree; h / she will be expected to quality for appointment at the rank of Associate or full Professor.
