Strategic Partnerships Director

The OpenX Strategic Partnerships team manages all strategic relationships across the OpenX Ad Exchange. The Strategic Partnerships Director will be responsible for ensuring our customer's success and satisfaction with our products and contributing to their long-term loyalty. Reporting to the VP, Strategic Partnerships, the Strategic Partnerships Director will work closely with the commercial, product, engineering and legal teams to ensure that OpenX is delivering overall superior service to our strategic partners. This role will support specific initiatives including, but not limited to, partnerships with Agency Holding companies, DSP's, Identity Resolution companies, Third Party Data providers and measurement solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and close new partnerships that drive scalable, and repeatable revenue from new demand sources across the industry.
  • Manage existing partnerships to identify and develop new revenue opportunities.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of revenue generating opportunities and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders across a variety of programmatic initiatives.
  • Develop revenue projections for new partnerships and channels.
  • Deliver against new revenue goals for select new products.
  • Collaborate with OpenX sales leaders on Buyer Dev, Supply BD, and Platform demand teams to sell strategically and align activities to team and company goals.
  • Work closely with OpenX product and tech teams to understand and contribute market feedback to product strategy.
  • Help incubate and implement new partnerships and channels by working with cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years in business development in programmatic advertising
  • Deep understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem, including data & identity spaces
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering against large revenue goals
  • Highly analytical with ability to make data supported recommendations
  • Experience negotiating complex legal agreements in partnership with OpenX legal team
  • Proficiency with Google Sheets and Google Slides
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
  • MBA preferred
