Housekeeping Manager
The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, order, and luxury presentation throughout the resort. This role oversees all housekeeping operations including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces ensuring an exceptional guest experience that reflects the resort's five-star standards. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating a pristine and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and inspire the housekeeping and laundry teams to deliver consistent luxury-level cleanliness and service.
- Maintain daily inspection routines for guest rooms, public areas, and employee spaces.
- Ensure all guest accommodations and resort areas meet brand standards.
- Manage scheduling, payroll, and inventory of cleaning supplies and linen.
- Develop and enforce quality assurance standards and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and feedback, ensuring quick and effective resolutions.
- Monitor performance, coach team members, and foster a culture of pride, teamwork, and professionalism.
- Oversee deep cleaning projects, special event setups, and seasonal maintenance programs.
- Uphold sustainability practices in product use and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
35 years of housekeeping management experience in a luxury hotel or resort setting.Proven leadership, communication, and team-building skills.Strong eye for detail, organization, and aesthetics.Excellent understanding of cleaning techniques, materials, and industry standards.Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.Ability to work with a diverse teamPreferred Attributes
