Job Title - Microbladding / Permanent Makeup Artist

Reports To - Salon Manager

The permanent makeup artist provides exemplary customer service to Lash Lounge clients, as well as top quality application of permanent makeup.

The Lash Lounge Walnut Creek - North- is looking for an experienced Microbladding and permanent makeup artist to join our team! Our ideal candidate will be a team player with a positive attitude who is capable of providing exceptional customer service with high quality service standards.

We are looking for someone who has at least 6 months of experience in microbladding and / or permanent makeup.

This position is an independent contractor position.

Pay rate is TBD- DOE.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Performs the application of our services to scheduled Lash Lounge clients, at the expected Gold Standard level.
• Provides exceptional customer service to all clients
• Build solid clientele by providing exceptional service at highest standard
• Be a team player
• Thoroughly conducts expected client consultation prior to service application, and inserts proper notes in client charts for future tracking.
• Responsible for work area, inventory management for necessary items needed at station, organization and cleanliness of overall treatment room.
• Responsible for proper sanitization of implements according to Lash Lounge protocol and the California department of health regulations.
• Responsible for sharing in general cleanliness of salon including maintaining cleanliness of your own station and common areas.
• Helps with marketing and promoting microbladding / permanent makeup services in order to build and maintain clientele.
• All other duties as described.

SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS :

• Must have proof of Hepatitis B vaccination
• Completion of a blood borne pathogens exposure control training program
• Minimum of 6 months of training / experience
• Strong verbal communication and listening skills
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work professionally with the public and with The Lash Lounge Encinitas team.
• Initiates self-learning and is comfortable at educating clients on products and services offered.
• Well organized, detail oriented
• Exhibits sound judgment.
• Forms strong working relationships within team.
• Identifies additional tasks to be completed and willingly assists others.
• Ongoing learner; exhibits insatiable curiosity and an interest in self improvement.

Scheduling is flexible and is determined by the manager and each individual stylist / artist based on salon scheduling needs and stylist / artist availability.
