JOB DESCRIPTION

Move Forward with Volt

Volt is immediately hiring for a QC Inspector in Oxnard.

As a QC Inspector you will :

• Perform QA (quality assurance) inspection for all outgoing material. Ensure all product that leaves our facility meets our high quality standards
• Perform incoming inspection for all raw material. Ensure all product that we receive meet the requirements in the PO and per the engineering drawing provided to supplier
• Perform in-process quality inspection. Inspect products in between manufacturing process to ensure that no additional work is performed on nonconforming material / product
• Record-keeping for quality. Keep track of our quality so that we can see if our quality is being maintained, improving, or worsening.

May require computer data entry.

This is a full-time opportunity.

1st shift : 7 : 30am to 4pm with possible overtime

Monday through Friday and Saturday, if needed

The ideal candidate must have :

• Comfortable working under a microscope for an 8 hour shift
• Experience in manufacturing environment (electronics manufacturing preferred)
• Detail-oriented
• Experience in quality and inspection
• Familiar with mechanical inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
• Assembly experience is a plus but not required
• IPC-610 certification a plus but not required

Education and / or Experience : High School Diploma, equivalency with 1 year work related experience.

Reasoning Ability : Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional variables.

Pay Rate : $18.00 per hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
