Job description
Managing a diverse caseload from inception through resolution, the full-time Texas Licensed Associate Attorney will provide strategic legal counsel and representation in court, arbitrations, and depositions while meeting a 1,950-hour annual billable requirement. Key responsibilities: Conduct legal analysis of claims and causes of action, including extensive research and drafting of briefs and pleadings Represent clients in court, at arbitrations, and in depositions, while managing trial preparation and expert witness collaboration Collaborate with partners and clients to deliver strategic legal advice and manage deadlines with a high level of independence Required qualifications: J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school Active license to practice law in Texas; additional bar admissions are a plus Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant practice area Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills Experience with administrative proceedings, depositions, and mediations
