TBS Coach

Job Description :

Under general supervision, the Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) Coach provides one-to-one therapeutic behavior services for children, adolescents, and young adults (as dictated by State and / or local legislation). TBS Coach performs other related duties, as required. This classification is characterized by the execution of various cognitive behavioral interventions under the supervision of a licensed mental health clinician at various locations, such as the home or school of the person served. This position requires effective communication skills, time management skills, documentation skills (writing / typing), and teaching skills. Ideal candidates are able to work independently according to prescribed protocols and directives. This is a part-time position without guaranteed hours.

Duties :

• Provide one-to-one behavioral interventions and collaboration as required.
• Provide support life services as detailed in the treatment plan and directed by the case supervisor.
• Secure all required signatures upon inception of TBS services.
• Complete individualized progress notes and required documents in a thorough and timely manner.
• Respond to critical situations in professional manner.
• Make attempts to intervene before a crisis develops with a child.
• Keep track of billable time to reconcile with hours worked.
• Ensure all entries in charts are accurate, complete, and timely.
