Job Title: Cashier and Expediter
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cashier and Expediter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing transactions, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring efficient order processing. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues
- Expedite orders by coordinating with kitchen staff and ensuring timely delivery to customers
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the cashier station
- Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall customer experience
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in using point-of-sale systems and other relevant technology
