Position : Opto-Mechanical Technician Experience : Aminimum of 3 years professional experience working with fiber optics Minimum Education : H.S. Diploma or GED required; Associate degree or Technical Certification is a plus. Compensation Range : $30.00 - $45.00 / hour depending upon education, skills, and experience. Job Description : Opto-Mechanical Technicians provide assembly, integration, alignment and test in support of the development of cutting-edge laser and electro-optical systems. Responsibilities :

• Effectively manage schedule and priorities with minimal daily direction to meet mid to long-term schedule objectives.
• Receive and inspect components.
• Installation, alignment, and integration of optics, electro-optics, & mechanics (combination of COTS & custom mechanics & optics).
• Thermal management systems assembly and test.
• Additional duties related to facility support (clean rooms, chillers, occasional travel to support testing at customer sites).
