Lincoln Electric, a global leader in welding solutions and automation, is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer for its Shelby location.

Responsibilities

Design, debug, and troubleshoot PLC software and HMIs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project milestones
Maintain project documentation and customer deliverables
Support equipment installation and customer training

Qualifications

Electrical or mechatronics engineering degree

At least two years of experience as a Controls Engineer

Knowledge of electrical circuits, schematic reading, and troubleshooting

Experience with AutoCAD Electrical, ePLAN, Rockwell Logix 5000, Siemens S7-1500, and programming languages like VB, C / C++, C#

Experience in PLC programming and HMI development

Willingness to travel approximately 30% domestically and internationally
