Overview We are seeking a talented and professional Hairdresser to join our team at a reputable Personal Care Facility. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for enhancing clients' beauty and confidence through expert hair styling and grooming services. This role offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment dedicated to personalized care, where your skills in cosmetology, barbering, and customer service will be valued and utilized to create a positive experience for every resident.
Duties Provide a wide range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling (e.g., wash-and-sets) tailored to client preferences.
Develop a thorough understanding of each resident's hair care needs and preferences.
Ensure a comfortable, relaxing, and compassionate experience for all residents including those with mobility challenges.
Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene in accordance with industry regulations.
Requirements Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience in hair styling and related services.
Proficiency in hair coloring techniques and knowledge of color theory.
Experience with senior clients is strongly preferred.
Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
Strong understanding of sanitation practices within a personal care environment.
