• Shift: Clinic hours 8:00 am – 12:00 pm & 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm; Call (weeknights & weekends)
• Hours/week: 40 hours (plus pre-approved OT)
• Employment Type: Locum
• License/Certs: Active CA medical license, DEA, BLS, BC or BE within 3-5 years of residency
• Experience: 2+ years in inpatient/outpatient Hematology/Oncology, inpatient case logs required

Pay & Benefits

• Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 (discussed upon application)
• Schedule & Call Pay: Regular hours, call, overtime, holiday, and night call rates to be mutually agreed upon

What You’ll Do

• Provide inpatient and outpatient Hematology/Oncology care in a hospital-affiliated clinic setting
• Manage outpatient clinic consultations, follow-ups, and procedures
• Respond to emergency and on-call needs, including evening and weekend coverage
• Document encounters accurately and timely
• Participate in resident teaching and academic activities
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care
• Maintain clinical logs for privileges and credentialing compliance

What You Need

Required:

• Active California medical license
• DEA license
• Board certification or eligibility in Hematology/Oncology
• BLS certification
• At least 2 years of clinical inpatient/outpatient experience in Oncology/Hematology
• Experience with inpatient case logs for privileges

Preferred:

• Previous experience at a COC-accredited facility
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
