Overview
Hybrid Behavior Specialist - In person and telehealth. Join Center for Social Dynamics (CSD) to support children with autism and other developmental needs through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). This role is flexible, onsite and in home / community settings, with training provided and ongoing clinical support.
Responsibilities
- Conducts scheduled sessions and ensures consistency unless time-off is granted or parental preferences indicate otherwise.
- Fill in for other clients when sessions are cancelled to maintain productivity, primarily on Saturdays and within the employee's availability.
- Deliver additional hours or sessions as assigned by Regional leadership within the employee's availability.
- Implement individualized treatment goals and Behavioral Intervention Plans per direction from Clinical Directors and senior staff to improve behavior and skill acquisition for clients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- Travel to Center, Home, and other community settings to deliver services; subbing sessions primarily at regional centers.
- Complete sessions daily and write thorough notes; communicate schedule changes and cancellations to the clinical team promptly.
- Participate in regular meetings and communicate with Clinical Leaders regarding Treatment Plans, family concerns, and questions.
- Complete clinical documentation timely, including Daily Treatment Session Notes, Daily Treatment Target Data, and Daily Behavior Data (as applicable).
- Keep up-to-date with site documents and current clinical reports; stay informed on new research and trends in special education and related fields.
- Attend staff meetings, trainings, and other requested meetings; perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
H.S. Diploma or GED6+ months of experience in ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis)Telehealth / Virtual experience preferredFlexible availability, especially Monday through Friday 12pm-7pm PST (3-10pm EST)Complete new hire training online and in personProof of vaccinations (MMR, Varicella, and COVID – California mandated)Reliable transportationAbility to work with ethnically, linguistically, culturally, and economically diverse populationsEffective verbal and written communication; good judgment and discretion; ability to implement policies and proceduresProficiency with computer / word processing softwarePhysical Requirements

You'll follow a personalized plan created by the clinical team and bring energy, compassion, and structure to sessions. Training is provided and you'll have support from clinical leaders.
