Description
- Provide technical expertise and support in the materials and process engineering of cast and / or forged product.
- Work as part of a highly engaged and integrated Materials Engineering team.
- You will collaborate across client Aerospace engineering teams to create solutions and systems that meet the evolving needs of our customers.
- You will participate in all phases of product development and will be a technical point of contact for less experienced engineers.
- Based in Tempe, Arizona, this Materials Engineering position will provide support for new and existing cast and / or forged products including aerospace gas turbine engines used for propulsion and auxiliary power.
- Primary responsibilities include support for materials and processes involved in the design and manufacture of cast / forged parts, as well as regular interaction with suppliers to help resolve issues.
- May occasionally need to lift 35 pounds single lift.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelors' Degree with in STEM4+ years of experience in materials / process engineering in the casting and / or forging industry4+ years experience with aluminum, steel, titanium and nickel aerospace cast and / or wrought alloysAdditional Information
