Personal Injury Attorney
We are looking for a high-quality Personal Injury Attorney that shares our passion for personal injury and is willing to learn how we have successfully provided legal services to thousands of clients that have been injured as a result of someone else’s negligence.
The ideal candidate must be hard working, customer focused, empathetic, driven, and professional.
Prior personal injury experience is preferred but not required .
Responsibilities :
- Evaluate potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients accordingly.
- Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, insurance company adjusters, supporting witnesses, and medical providers to secure documents necessary to support injury and / or liability positions
- Manage, supervise and negotiate case settlements with insurance carriers, as well as resolve outstanding medical balances with providers
- Communicate with existing and potential clients, via telephone and in person
- Document and update the status of all case files in the case management system
- Effectively manage and maintain a high volume of cases
- Meet monthly established goals and metrics
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree and a J.D. degree is required
- Must have an active bar license in the state of NY that is in good standing
- Excellent client service and communication skills
- Superior writing and oral advocacy skills
- Must be computer proficient
