  • Schedule : Monday-Friday, 11 : 00 AM - 2 : 30 PM
  • Job Summary :

    The Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative (PSR I) represents the organization's commitment to quality care by providing a professional, patient-centered experience during blood collection. The PSR I is responsible for drawing high-quality blood samples , preparing them for testing, and ensuring all procedures follow established laboratory and safety standards. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.

    Key Responsibilities :

  • Collect blood specimens from patients in accordance with established procedures and safety protocols.
  • Greet and interact with patients to create an atmosphere of trust and professionalism.
  • Accurately label and process specimens for testing and transport.
  • Maintain all necessary documentation and patient records.
  • Demonstrate leadership behaviors , focusing on accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
  • Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collections as required.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
  • Support team operations, contributing to a positive and efficient work culture.
  • Required Experience :

  • Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience required; 1+ year preferred .
  • Prior experience in a retail or healthcare customer service environment preferred.
  • Keyboarding and data entry skills required.
  • Required Education & Certifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred (mandatory only in CA, NV, and WA).
